Mr. Winston was born in England and moved to the United States when he was in high school. Mr. Winston received a degree in Geology from Western State College of Colorado and worked for six years as an engineering geologist for the Colorado Department of Highways and Lincoln Devore, a consulting engineering firm based in Colorado Springs.

Mr. Winston attended the University of Denver Law school and graduated with honors, receiving admission to the Order of Saint Ives.

Mr Winston began practicing law in 1990 and has litigated and taken to trial cases throughout Colorado.

Mr. Winston resides in Colorado Springs and has three children. When not practicing law he enjoys hiking, fishing and reading
